Estancia belongs to the greater area of the Pantanal https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pantanal which is the largest tropical wetland area in the world. Only ca. 2% of the Pantanal is situated in Paraguay and Estancia Vira is part of it (about 90% of the Pantanal lies in Brazil and this is where the water comes down the Rio Paraguay)
CURRENT OPERATION AND FACILITIES
- Current operation: Cattle breеding farm (great farm for mother cows and less ideal for fattening oxen)
- Cattle breeding capacity: up to 4000 heads (young and old)
- Fence of the farm: 33 km of perimeter fences as well as bordering with the
- Rio Paraguay River, no fencing need toward the river.
19 cattle camps fenced inside with 67 km of inside fences
- All needed infrastructure to raise and treat the cattle
- Buildings for the management and for the staff
- One great advantage is that the property has abundant natural grass growing between natural palm trees which can be used for cattle feed
- Also Vira has areas with specially brewed perennial grass
